Ron Carmanico

CEO, Manic Enterprises

Ron has 35 years of experience, 25 in Telecom. Ron's diverse background in Sales Leadership, Operations, and Engineering has positioned him to provide a deep understanding and consultative approach to solving today’s complex Network and IT infrastructure issues and needs. Ron has worked with Economic Development Councils in both Canada and the US to support Rural Broadband Initiatives and large scale Data Center Development projects as well as supporting M&A activity for Data Center and Cloud companies.  Ron's telecom background was both in leading and directing the large Enterprise account teams as well as leading Sales Engineering efforts launching MCI’s Managed Services portfolio. Ron held pivotal senior positions as VP of Sales and VP of Carrier Relations at GTT and Core180, and Head of Operations and Carrier Relations for Chicago-based industry leader, Netrix. Ron has also performed contract negotiation consulting services for Carriers, Systems Integrators, and Enterprise accounts. Working both from the "buy side" and the "sell side" in a variety of organizations has given Ron a unique perspective into establishing collaborative and mutually beneficial business relationships between provider and consumer.

Sharon graduated from VCU in Richmond, VA with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, and she has worked with a wide variety of clients in a multitude of settings, including children and adults in medical hospitals, sleep and pain clinics, incarcerated adults and juvenile offenders, and everyday people and families in distress. Clinical Psychology doctorate provides her with an extensive background in academic, research and applied interventions to promote psychological and physical wellness. Her understanding of psychological and physical challenges, including chronic pain, family dysfunction, emotional disorders and coping with stress, give her a unique insight into consumer characteristics and the need for effective, holistic and affordable Health and Wellness products and services. Her experience authoring articles for scientific journals honed her ability to critically evaluate, discern and communicate empirical findings based on valid and reputable scientific research. Sharon recognizes the broad need for holistic interventions and how to discriminate and promote the unique benefits of empirically proven health & wellness solutions in a highly competitive market.
