Ron Carmanico - Founder & CEO

Ron has 35 years of experience, 25 in Telecom, Ron's diverse background in Sales Leadership, Operations, and Engineering has positioned him to provide a deep understanding and consultative approach to solving today’s complex Network and IT infrastructure issues and needs. Ron has worked with Economic Development Councils in both Canada and the US to support Rural Broadband Initiatives and large scale Data Center Development projects as well as supporting M&A activity for Data Center and Cloud companies.  Ron's telecom background was both in leading and directing the large Enterprise account teams as well as leading Sales Engineering efforts launching MCI’s Managed Services portfolio. Ron has held senior positions at MCI/Verizon, VP of Sales and VP of Carrier Relations for organizations like GTT and Core180, and Head of Operations and Carrier Relations for Chicago based Netrix. Working both from the "buy side" and the "sell side" of each organization Ron has also performed contract negotiation consulting services for Carriers, Systems Integrators, and Enterprise accounts.


Don MacNeil - Strategic Advisor

Don is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at FiberLight. Formerly the CTO of EdgeConnex where he was responsible for the design and architecture of EdgeconneX's award winning data centers.  Previous to this he served as EVP, Chief Operating Officer at XO Communications (XO), where he was responsible for the customer experience and the alignment of the products and services with XO's Go-to-Market strategies.  While at XO, Don also served as CMO for two years and was Vice President of Carrier Services Operations for six years.  In this role, Don was overseeing service delivery, service assurance, product management, and the customer experience for XO Carrier Services, the company's wholesale services business unit.  Prior to XO, Don was an officer in the United States Navy, serving at-sea in operational leadership roles as well as various leadership roles in weapon system design and procurement.


John Gaffigan – VP of Business Development

John has led sales teams from start-ups through Fortune 500 organizations across a variety of technologies:  Telecom, Datacom, InfoSec, Energy Efficiency and Conservation Services.   In 2014, John applied his industry expertise into creating a sales consultancy to serve as an outsourced VP of Sales for emerging technology firms with compelling value props and a commitment to client support excellence.  With strong alignment on these same core values at Manic Enterprises, John was thus drawn to join the Manic team.  John’s role is facilitating direct client and channel partner development across our wide range of network and IT optimization services to reduce OPEX and improve operational efficiency.
